Monoblock power supply

Monoblock power supply

The monoblock power supply cased kit uses the White Noise custom built 300VA transformer and a capacitor input power supply. The standard output is +/-50V but can be set to any desired value by using a suitable transformer. The supply can power two MOS125 or DVA100, or indeed any other, amplifiers up to their full output of 100W into 8 ohms. Ideally though, the monoblock psu is designed to power a single, matching, cased MOS125 or DVA100 monoblock. In addition to the primary, high current, power supply there is a small ancillary 15VA,+/-15V regulated supply for the likes of loudspeaker protection units and balanced i/o modules.

There is a 2A circuit breaker on the mains input, and fuses on the main DC output, for fault protection. All of the internal wiring uses silver plated, ptfe insulated cable and the output connectors are silver plated, locking, DIN sockets. There are two high current, and one low current, output sockets. The front panel carries an on/off toggle switch and a red, or optionally blue, power indicator led.
